‘A passion for life’
Since I, at a very young age, saw Flora Danica for the first time I was incredibly fascinated by it.
With this fascination and with more than 22 years at Royal Copenhagen in various positions, I have acquired a complex and unique knowledge about the Flora Danica dinner service.
It has given me an insight into the exiting history of the Flora Danica – a story that involves Kings, Queens, Princes and Princesses. A story about one of the worlds best preserved dinner services form the 18th century until today – one of the worlds most exclusive and expensive dinner services.
With 24 caret gold on the rim, hand-modeled flowers, many layers of colours and several firings in between it is a story of unique craftmanship still performed in Denmark today.
Throughout the years at Royal Copenhagen, part of my various positions has always been to convey the more than 230-year-old history and the narrative of the craftmanship behind Flora Danica.
I have always with great joy and passion told the interesting story of Flora Danica to international clients, VIP guests and journalists, which led to me being on Television several times – from Europe to Asia.
Today I no longer work at Royal Copenhagen but am now the owner of “Danica Experience” where I continue my passion for the storytelling about the dinner service and offer unique and exclusive Flora
Danica events and experiences.
